To say the Vikings are relying on running back Dalvin Cook this season is an understatement. Minnesota is 2-2 on the year, including a 16-6 loss to the Raiders last weekend. Cook is second in the NFL with 410 rushing yards and the team ranks third with an average of 155.2 YPG, but teams are keying in on stopping the run. Oakland limited Cook to just 35 yards on the ground. Kirk Cousins’ inability to throw the deep pass to Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs has been frustrating to the team. Diggs has been held to under 50 yards in the first three games and had 91 last week, with most coming in the second half. Diggs has not been coy about the situation after signing a five-year, $72 million extension in 2018.

he New England Patriots can extend their best start to the season since 2015 when they host the New York Giants in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Thursday Night Football.
